Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA)

Location: Riga, Latvia

ICON is a global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. This is an excellent new job opportunity to join our successful team in Clinical Trial Support.

About Clinical Trial Assistant at ICON:

In this central role, you will play an essential part in ensuring the efficient and effective conduct of clinical trial studies. You will be working closely with our global clinical teams, supporting the Clinical Trial Managers and Project Managers. As the Clinical Trial Assistant, you will have experience working in an administrative or project tracking tasks, in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

You will need to ensure high levels of accuracy, to manage and maintain clinical study documentation
Provide support to the project teams by updating the Clinical Trial Management Systems
Arrange and attend internal and external meetings, helping to produce presentation materials and generate meeting minutes
Assist in the tracking and distribution of safety reports and coordinate document translations, if required
Contact external and internal individuals; you will collate relevant study information and assist with study payments

To succeed you will need:

The successful applicant will possess strong administrative skills. You will be highly organised, as you will be supporting on clinical trials across global locations. You will have strong communication skills, to communicate with all stakeholders involved in the Clinical Trial Support process.

Previous working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Fluent in English, and the local language for the country you are applying
Excellent oral and written communication skills, issue management and resolutions skills as
