Data Manager I, II or Senior

Location: Lexington office, USA

Mapi has been acquired by ICON and has now assimilated into ICON’s late phase business known as ICON Commercialization and Outcomes division. We invite you to learn more about our Data Manager opportunity based in the Lexington office, USA. We are looking for someone with a good, solid grounding as a Data Manager perhaps at the Data Manager II or Senior Data Manager levels.

The Data Manager is responsible for data management activity for assigned projects from project startup to archival in accordance with study timelines, study specifications, applicable guidelines, regulatory requirements and SOPs. The role within ICON is a client facing role, with a breadth of activities. We are happy to receive applicants from candidates who have the breadth of experience already or from those who are eager to learn and develop a broader range of skills and expertise in this space.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Participation at study bid defense meetings – preparing, presenting, answers queries
Building Electronic Data Capture systems within a clinical study environment (use of Datatrak would be beneficial)
Responsible for the creation of test data and ensuring defined edit checks are working
Medical coding activity (MedDRA and WHODrug dictionaries)
Preparing and maintaining the Data Management Plans
Training of data management staff
May assist in SAE / SADR reconciliation
Representing Data Management at both internal and external meetings

You will have an eagerness to expand your current skills and knowledge where you feel there may be a gap in your current skillset.
