ICON is currently looking to strengthen and expand our global Business Information team through the recruitment of a Qvidian Content Administrator. This is a BD supporting position across all Service lines globally.
As the Data Systems Administrator also referred to as the Qvidian Content Administrator plays a key role within our Business Information Team in maintaining the integrity and usability of the Qvidian system, ICONs global library solution. The Qvidian Content Administrator plays an important part in ensuring comprehensive user knowledge, and that users understand their role in maintaining content integrity. This role works closely with ICON's key business stakeholders at all levels to exhibit the functionality and value the library can bring to their day-to-day responsibilities. The position requires excellent communication skills, a comprehensive understanding of the capabilities of the Qvidian system. This position will be the gatekeeper for the day-to-day oversight of Qvidian as well as the provision of tools, resources, content, and training to support client responses. the Qvidian Content Administrator will also scale the Qvidian application to meet future business requirements of the organization including automation of selling documents in support of sales initiatives and goals.
The Role
- Responsible for overall application, process, and global content management.
- Conducting User-on boarding (license assignment)
- Work with internal team to ensure user roles are configured correctly, administers users and maintains application permissions and content security
- Maintaining process compliance of users through training
- Develops, communicates, and train the organization on Qvidian business practices and processes across all functionalities and user groups.
- Updates content in Qvidian based on approved ICON branding.
- Configuration of folder structure, user roles, and other items necessary to maintain Qvidian as a best practice RFx response collaboration system.
- Proactively maintains content by identifying content due to expire and working with SMEs to review and update as needed.
- Attendance of webinars around new feature roll-outs and development of communication plans to disseminate information to users
- The Interface between ICON and SalesEdge (Qvidian Vendor)
- Monitors effectiveness (usage, SME engagements, etc.)
- Works closely with and may serve as a back-up for Business Information team for simple RFI requests
- Ensures best practices are incorporated into Qvidian operating model
- Serves as an escalation point of contact for any technical concerns and ensures they are addressed.
- Contact SalesEdge or Upland Qvidian customer support team for assistance, as needed
- Interface between ICON key stakeholders and SalesEdge to help influence future Qvidian product development in support of ICON business requirements
- Ownership and delivery of projects outlined in the Qvidian roadmap.
- Manage the interface between Salesforce and Qvidian (TBD)
- Serve as a liaison between Proposals and Business Information in an effort to ensure accurate and timely content maintenance processing.
- Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

What you need
- Bachelor's degree in science or business, or local equivalent combination of education & experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
- Two plus years of hands-on technical experience administering and maintaining data-intensive products
- Two plus years of Qvidian system administration experience - Preferred
- Oral and written fluency in English.
- Strong MS Excel and Word Skills
- Demonstrated execution and delivery skills; ability to get stuff done.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Relationship management skills strongly desired as well as strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with people at all levels.
- Clinical Research/CRO industry experience - Preferred, but not essential
- Experience in a supervisory role preferred.
