This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.

Our Sr. Director plays a key role within ICON’s Medical Imaging Division; being responsible for oversight and leadership of Data Management, Validation, Technical Project Management, Visualization and reporting teams. They will evaluate new technologies, promote and lead cross-divisional product integration efforts.  Serve as internal consultant to Clinical Operation, Medical & Scientific Affairs, Business Development and Quality Assurance.

Overview of the Role

• Executive Management
• Responsible for Technology Assessment, ensuring the right tools are in place and managed for continuous improvement of data collection, reporting and analysis
• Department Budgeting – responsible for managing resources and budget for Data Management
• Will support Sales and Marketing efforts in regards to services provided in Data Management, Data Reporting and Visualization
• Creation / maintenance of data management plans, SOPs, process flows, data flow diagrams and various client / internal reports
• Manage responses for proposal and bids (RFIs, MSAs, FRPs) and Sponsor Quality Agreements for Data Management ensuring consistency, harmony and efficiency
• Responsible for Database mapping and management for internal and client projects
• Client communications; will be point of contact for client meeting, escalation, audits and bid defense
• Responsible for Data Management Project Management oversight, ensuring data quality and adherence to delivery timelines
• Responsible for review and approval of data delivery agreements
• Working knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11
• Travel (approximately 15%) domestic and/or international
• To undertake other responsible related duties as assigned
• Manage Staff and set clear goals and objectives
• Lead, Motivate global team and Evaluate staff
• Manage projects in accordance with established guidelines, budget, quality and/or contractual requirements

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Medicine, engineering or local equivalent
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Advance Degree preferred
• Senior Management 3-5 years experience in managing global teams
• Technology Assessment
• Product Development – Industry knowledge of Product development regulations
• Contract Negotiations
• Sales and Marketing Support
• Leadership
• Trained in Good Clinical Practices
• Trained in Good Documentation Practices
