Director Of Pharmacovigilance & Safety

We are seeking a strong and dynamic strategic leader to oversee our PV and Safety function. The primary objective of the Director of Pharmacovigilance & Safety is to support and drive strategic and operational functions of the Pharmacovigilance & Safety business unit to meet its goals and project objectives.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following.

• Leadership role for FSP PVG & Safety linked global team
• Reporting directly to VP and part of VPs leadership team covering Biometrics, Medical Writing, Regulatory and PVG & Safety functions
• Responsible for line management of PVG & Safety Management team providing guidance and support
• Responsible for providing direction and strategy for the FSP based PVG & Safety teams
• Key PVG & Safety leadership contact for FSP clients
• Responsible for key sales support for PVG & Safety team include input into RFPs, pricing and bid defence meeting support
• Provide strategic vision and leadership to define and implement global harmonized PV processes and technologies to support business objectives
• Stays abreast of PV and industry changes that may impact global PV operations. Interprets PV guidance as related to systems and makes plans to adapt company systems and processes as appropriate

• Minimum of 7 years of experience within Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety
• Strong leadership skills 
• Experience working within a large global Clinical Research organization is highly preferred.
• Substantial experience working with external teams to support business development efforts is highly preferred
• Proven ability in implementing processes and procedures in support of improving PV technologies
