Graphic Designer
Based in Limerick
 
Firecrest, a technology driven division within ICON, now has an excellent new job opportunity in our growing Graphic Design team.  Our vision is "development at the speed of thought" - and as a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for delivering highly visual and engaging training products for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.
 
About the Graphic Design role in Firecrest
 
Are you seeking a Graphic Design role where you will contribute to the development of high quality eLearning content?  Where you have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, developing designs and animations that are instructional, engaging, and meet the needs of our end users?
 
You will be working as part of a production team, producing graphics and animations for our online training courses, using Adobe Flash/Animate CC, Photoshop and illustrator to develop content.  You will participate in storyboarding sessions in conjunction with a team of instructional designers and subject matter experts, developing training content with a particular focus on technical accuracy and instructional value.
 
As a Graphic Designer in Firecrest, you will participate in the ongoing design review process, contributing to the development of our overall approach, and ensuring that our products are at the cutting edge of industry trends.  There is a strong focus on continuous improvement in Firecrest, as such you will be involved in initiatives to streamline our processes, while always ensuring we are meeting our client needs.
 
Key Requirements for Graphic Designer Job
 
You will have a Graphic Design, Multimedia, Animation or related degree level qualification. Prior experience working in eLearning, or similar team based design role an advantage.
 
You will have experience working with Adobe Flash/Animate CC, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.  Proficiency in ActionScript, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript is desirable and a knowledge of, or prior experience working in UX design, is also desirable.
 
This is a very strong focus on teamwork in Firecrest, as such we are looking for individuals with a positive attitude and open mind.  A proven track record working successfully in a team based environment will be a key advantage.
