You will join a professional and experienced Investigator Payments team focused on making an impact globally and supporting ICON’s mission – to help its clients accelerate the development of drugs and medical devices that save patient lives and improve their quality of life.

The Role

As Investigator Payments Analyst I, you will liaise with internal and external partners ensuring the investigator pricing budget generated for internal/external protocols are conducted in an effective manner, meeting agreed timelines and ICON’s quality standards.

Role responsibilities include:

• To positively contribute to the teams strategy by seeking to improve their knowledge of investigator budget pricing strategies and ICON systems and processes
• Provide expert guidance to ICON colleagues our clients regarding fair market value fees for research related procedures/non-procedures and general budget formatting
• To effectively build and maintain a productive working relationship with the Clinical teams
• Prepare communication and data materials for our clients relating to budget pricing and reporting as appropriate.
• Maintain positive strong working relationships with clients, vendors and staff
• To set up, organize and maintain budget pricing and supporting documentation as appropriate.
• Develop investigator site budget estimates for each country.
• Liaise with Business Development department to establish and provide required investigator fee estimates.
• Liaise with project leads to finalize budget formatting and costs per country.
• Update estimates based on feedback from clinical experts internally or with the client and record this feedback appropriately.
• Provide expert information and relevant documentation in relation to general pricing processes.
• Attend project specific and general meetings as needed
• Liaise with ICON SSU during site agreement negotiations to assist with formatting/cost questions
• Conduct general and study specific training for Clinical staff assigned to the studies / presentations to Clinical teams and to other ICON departments where necessary.
• Liaise with all other teams such as Clinical, IPG, PTS, IT, Finance, legal and contracts to ensure pricing queries are speedily resolved and that the necessary preventative measures are put in place to prevent recurrence of similar issues.
• Leading meetings, record, prepare and distribute meeting minutes as requested.

Experience & Knowledge Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or local equivalent preferred, or will have relevant experience for the position.
• Ability to liaise successfully with all levels of management at ICON, vendors, and clients.
• Good working knowledge of PC applications (Excel, Word, Outlook and Access).
• Excellent organizational, administration and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills.
• Excellent Customer Relationship Management skills
• Ability to easily adapt to fast-paced environment working to strict deadlines and targets.
• Good numerical ability an advantage.
