- Champion Continuous Delivery and the automation of all aspects of delivery
- Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of design, test and development practices, frameworks and patterns to reflect industry best practice
- Work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to support the definition of solutions
- Actively collaborate with the IT management team to ensure the timely, flexible provision of appropriately skilled resources, to continually maintain a resource profile which supports delivery of the IT GBS Roadmap and maximizes resource utilization in your technical domain(s)
- Participates/leads in technical discussions that result in optimal solutions
- Manage, motivate and lead a skilled team of developers who design and develop and maintain software solutions
- Provide regular feedback to manager on work status and problem areas
- Drives delivery of high quality products on agreed deadlines, promptly escalates issues
- Engage with projects to ensure timely delivery of fit for purpose systems and solutions
- Accountable for applying knowledge and ingenuity to solve problems that arise in areas of responsibility, and escalating when necessary
- Excellent approachable communicator at any level and across all regions
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Organizes own time and schedule to deliver on commitments in a timely manner
- Allocates time to support the technical growth and career development of team members
- The position includes the line management responsibility, managing, motivating and leading a team of skilled developers.

- Has an Excellent knowledge of relevant industry standards, technologies and products
- Technical Skills: Expert working knowledge in multiple technical areas and strong working knowledge of multiple technologies. Has expert knowledge in own a technical domain(s)
- US/LATAM/CAN: A minimum of 8 years relevant IT industry experience.
- Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore, dependent on the employee’s location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Driver’s license
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related area preferred
