About the Lab Data Analyst role within ICON:
 
The Lab Data Analyst will be responsible for effectively assisting the department’s management by creating data batches in both basic and custom data formats, completing Quality control checks, and transmitting data files. To use strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills in functioning as the Data Analyst for assigned Protocols. To complete all required steps to complete the database setup phase of each assigned new Protocol, including but not limited to initial contact and setup discussions with the client, preparation of the data test batch, and establishing a schedule for regularly occurring data transfers. To assist in the authoring of Global Data Services in accordance to Corporate SOP’s and as instructed by Department Management. Configuring database settings to ensure proper data content (data mapping). As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.

To succeed you will need:
 
You will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a Math or IT related field. Must have the ability to work independently, to be highly motivated, to be a strong team player and work well in a strong, fast paced team environment.
Have the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a professional manner, possess the knowledge the of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, databases, medical terminology and multi-task in a fast paced environment and effectively give and receive instruction and communicate in oral and written form.
