This is an exciting opportunity for a Patient Centricity Officer to work in collaboration with our sites and networks to facilitate our company vision of always putting patients at the heart of everything we do. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring patients are fully supported throughout their clinical trial journey.

This role will involve a very "hands on" approach. You will require detailed knowledge and understanding of the patient pathways from referral, diagnosis, treatment and including clinical trial opportunities.

A good knowledge of clinical research and in particular experience in oncology would be an advantage.

We wish to enhance the patient experience on every level whilst recognising the value it will add to the sites and networks through increased recruitment, higher retention rates and improved patient satisfaction.

Main responsibilities:

• The Patient Centricity Officer will provide a personalised service to the patient and family before, during and after the trial.

• Create a collaborative and positive environment with the clinical and research team working in partnership with all the stakeholders.

• Ensure the logistics of the trial visits, procedures and treatments are well organised to reduce patient burden.

• Implementing services and engagement methods around patients, families and care givers to inform and engage them in cancer research.

• Work with the patient recruitment team to assist in identifying and pre-screening possible study participants.

To be successful you will need:

• Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant subject i.e. nursing and/ or life sciences, clinical research.

• Experience in clinical research environment, preferably oncology.

• Knowledge of ICH/GCP

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Outstanding organisational skills.
