Performance and Reward Analyst 

 

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. This role will lead and manage the governance, communication, design and implementation of industry leading performance and reward frameworks and programmes in the context of our strategic HR and business performance goals.

Overview of the Role

ICON’s reward frameworks are key enablers of individual, team and company performance and support ICON’s strategic pillars through effective attraction, retention, motivation and recognition of the company’s human resources.

The Global Performance & Reward team is a centre of excellence (COE) within the HR function with accountability for reward governance and compliance and the development and management of our reward frameworks globally. 

This is a key role within the Global Performance & Reward Team that will be accountable for delivering solutions and services through effective partnering with the Performance and Reward team, HR Business Partners, Recruitment, Regional HR Service Centre, other internal functions such as Finance and Legal, and external partners.

The role holder will play a lead role in managing and developing the reward frameworks that support the business performance and talent development goals of the business in the Americas region.

Role Requirements

  • Several years’ relevant experience in a Performance & Reward and/or general business role.
  • A bachelor’s degree, relevant professional qualification, or local equivalent is preferred.
  • Demonstrates drive to make a positive difference to business performance.
  • Numerate and can demonstrate clear thinking to penetrate problems & diagnose underlying issues.
  • Directs and coaches others to deliver quality solutions and processes.
  • Commercial thinker who determines the need for reward/ HR policy changes and influences senior stakeholders.
  • Articulate and produces clear and engaging HR communications.
  • Shows commitment to outstanding teamwork.
  • Demonstrates brilliant execution, is thorough and applies a high standard to everything.
  • Pro-active problem solving and issue resolution skills.
  • Identifies clear priorities and focuses on them, and is comfortable delivering to a demanding schedule.
  • Excellent IT skills: Excel/spreadsheets, databases, Word, PowerPoint etc.
  • Demonstrating the ICON Competencies, the successful candidate will believe passionately that a successful performance and reward strategy that is well implemented and understood can drive superior engagement and performance.
