Pharmacy Technician

We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our winning team rated by Forbes as one of America’s best employers for two years in a row!

In this role you will execute all protocol requirements as they pertain to study medications in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations and requirements, sponsor expectations, and ICON standard operating procedures. The Pharmacy Technician will be required to maintain accurate documents pertaining to the receiving, dispensing, returning and/or destruction of all study medications. You will also be responsible for preparing study medications as required by protocol working closely with the Pharmacy Manager or other individuals. A good working knowledge of basic computer word processing programs is required.

In the absence of the Manager Pharmacy, provide line management and/or functional support to pharmacy staff. Assist other team members in the execution of all protocols as they relate to GCP and GDP.

What you need:

Are you registered in the state of Texas and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant Clinical Research, Hospital pharmacy, or Retail pharmacy with experience in IV admixture

To be successful you will be expected to have excellent written, oral communication, social and analytical skills in the communications with the investigators, sponsor representatives and all staff within the study. You are proficient with Microsoft Office along with understanding the concept of a “blinded” study and the importance of maintaining this blind when the pharmacist in unblinded. You possess the ability to work independently with a willingness to make decisions as well as working with a team.

This is a Per Diem role with flexible hours, and ongoing.
