Principal Biostatistician

As a Principal Statistician supporting Biostatisticians (Life Sciences), you will be trusted to work on Developing and/or applying statistical theories, methods, and software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, planning and implementing biostatistical components of plans for research and development projects that establish the conditions essential for determining safety, efficacy, and marketability of pharmaceutical and/or biological products
• Using sound statistical methodology to conduct studies relating to the life processes of plants, animals, and humans
• In development-phase projects, preparing the statistical component of protocols which meet project objectives, health authority guidelines, and clinical trial methodology standards
• Developing and/or applying statistical theories, methods, and software
• Organizing and interpreting data into tabular forms amenable to principles of statistical inference and is responsible for the statistical component of reports describing studies, outcomes and methods used
• Providing specifications and directions to the clinicians/statistical programmers
• Supporting the regulatory review and approval of the experimental therapies
• In some organizations, may partner in program design and in establishing standards for clinical conduct, and the collection, management and/or reporting of data.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 5 Years of Proven Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree and 2 years of validated Experience
• PhD
