Job Description Summary

The Product Management role in FIRECREST will be responsible for developing, managing and owning a portfolio of FIRECREST revenue generating products, and will have ultimate responsibility for each product’s P&L.

Core to this role is the ability to assess and understand customer needs, the market opportunity, product features and options, craft business cases and value propositions, and ultimately develop and manage the roadmap for each product from cradle to grave.

The successful candidate must possess strong analytical, communication, leadership and technical/digital skills. They will have a thorough understanding and experience of Clinical Trials (including digital platforms used) and the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with internal ICON stakeholders (sales, operations, IT) customers and sites and thoroughly understand their business processes and challenges.

  • Manage and own a complex portfolio of products from cradle to grave utilising a comprehensive product development methodology

  • Communicate effectively with executive leadership on plans, progress and the status of delivering against the roadmap and targets

  • Develop business plans and define resources, costs and delivery timelines for program implementation

  • Devise and implement product metrics and then measure success against them

  • Direct and oversee product delivery from IT and third-party vendors/partners

  • Identify and resolve issues as they arise at any point in the life cycle

  • Develop and maintain all product related documentation

  • Problem solve across various technology systems & business processes to propose ideas, scope features, and implement solutions

  • Communicate via both written documents and verbal presentations in an organized, clear and succinct way

  • Develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) for external services

  • Guide testing, implementation and escalation support for critical systems
