At ICON, we have an incredible opportunity for an expert Program Manager to join the Oncology or Biotech teams in the EMEA region.

The Role

The Program Manager provides project management leadership to cross-functional teams for all activities related to the planning, execution and successful delivery of all aspects of clinical development projects. Ensures that the strategy, all budgetary requirements, study timeframes and targets are met. May be responsible for managing a portfolio consisting of high complexity/high-profile, global, full-service projects/programs. In this role, you are expected to bring insights and experience to help drive oncology drug development with our customers and share expertise with teams and project management colleagues through mentorship

What you need

• Degree or equivalent combination of education & experience (preferably in life sciences, nursing or medical)

• Previous experience in a project management role in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or CRO setting

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, large, global projects and manage all financial aspects of the study

• Demonstrated ability to see the big picture, understand what our Sponsors need and come up with innovative solutions.

• Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and ability to translate those into practical solutions for our Sponsors

• Subject matter expertise in Oncology

• Ability to travel up to 25%

• Fluent in local language - both written & verbal
