Project Analyst II, Late Phase

Project Analyst will interact, assist and work in collaboration with Finance, BD and Project Management to develop, monitor and forecast financial goals for the divisional corporate project portfolio. The role will collect, retrieve, track, analyze, and report on internal and external data to serve as an effective contributor to a variety of project teams and/or managers.

Responsibilities:

• Critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding which can be applied towards increased profitability and improved efficiency on projects.

• Develop, implement and maintain processes with Project Management and Finance to manage projects with regard to utilization, recovery, and recognized revenue

• Interact closely with finance regarding recognized revenue and forecasting revenue

• Lead the development and maintenance of a project utilization and/or recognized revenue forecasting system for projects including forecasting backlog from a project’s task point-of-view, including fundamentals of activity based costing (models or effective know-how?)

• Analyze the profitability of projects/tasks and relay this information to Senior Management.

• Track utilization, recovery, recognized revenue on projects

• Validate data obtained via various techniques and expose new areas for development of a benchmarking/metrics system for costing and pricing purposes 

• Work with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis and cope with rapidly changing information
