Project Assistant, IDEA
Location: Office-based three days/ week
This position is primarily responsible for the administrative aspects of a clinical trial in support of the Endpoint Adjudication and/or Data Monitoring Committee Project Manager.
What you will be doing
Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which centers around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.
As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.
Assists the Project Manager with the development of project specific processes and Procedure Manual, as needed.
Establish and maintain project email box.
Communicates with the study team (ie sites, CRAs, Committee Members) as directed by the Project Manager.
Establish and maintain project email box.
Assists with project specific process/system training for study team (ie sites, CRAs, Committee Members), as directed by Project Manager.
Generates and distribute project reports as directed by Project Manager.
Maintains study team contact information, as needed.
Assists Project Manager with generating agenda and meeting minutes as needed.
Attends internal project team meetings.
Assists Project Manager with development of Site Manual as needed.
Schedules meetings, teleconferences, web exes as directed by Project Manager.
Maintains all aspects of project tracking (ie endpoints, site queries, documents) as directed by the Project Manager.
Maintains study files as directed by Project Manager.
Facilitates document translation as necessary.
Redacts documents as directed by Project Manager.
Manages courier deliveries and document upload as necessary.
Keeps management apprised of any potential/actual project issues.
Reports any identified out of scope activities to Project Manager.
Assists in ensuring audit readiness.
Performs other activities as identified and requested by Project Manager.
Assists with quality control measures as directed by Project Manager.

Ability to interact effectively and professionally with various levels of study team for both internal and external departments, vendors, and committee members.
Organizational, time management, and problem solving skills
Documentation and communication skills
Computer skills (ie Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Fluent in written and verbal English
Prior relevant administrative Experience
