The Role:

The Medical Project Associate, under the Supervisor / Manager of Medical Operations, provides administrative support to the team of Medical Monitoring
Associate (MMA), Medical Data Reviewers (MDR) and Medical Directors on projects to achieve study objectives and compliance with the protocol.

What you will be doing:
• Initiates and efficiently co-ordinates the set up of all medical monitoring administrative aspects for the MA team members
• Manages internal and external medical meetings: 
o Organizing meeting schedules / series, preparing meeting materials, managing review, finalization and dissemination of meeting agendas
and minutes.
• Enters and monitors follow up action items in system of record.
• Tracking, capturing and updating study data in the appropriate systems / trackers according to project specifics described in the MMP and SOPs
• Filing and archiving of medical documents and relevant communications, documenting all internal and external contacts relating to the protocol in
the appropriate systems
• Completes review of project documentation and subsequent tracking metrics as necessary 
• Maintaining records of the Medical Monitoring Support Center (MMSC) and MD on Duty (in EAPA)
• Operating the FAX server and Vendor reports shared mailboxes for Medical Affairs
• Maintenance and entry of PD category records for projects without Medical Monitoring Services contracted                                                                           
• Coaches and mentors team members for specific projects and processes, as needed 

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• We need a well-organised and approachable Project Associate to provide administrative and business support to our international Medical Affairs
team.
• Administrative experience gained within a CRO or pharmaceutical environment would be desirable although this is not essential.
• We can consider strong administrators or graduates without this background.
• Strong IT skills are essential, in particular MS Word and MS Excel and the ability to take and type up accurate minutes. 
• You will be a strong communicator and have the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Fluency in English is essential.
