Recruitment Manager

Location: Philadelphia, PA; Central New Jersey; New York City

 

DOCs, ICON’s Functional Services provider, is seeking a Recruitment Manager to function as a business partner for clients and candidates.

 

The Recruitment Manager will act as a coach for a small/medium team with consultants and/or researchers. Consults with clients about operational and specialist, managerial, tactical and strategic positions and assigns positions/assignments to the team. Closely monitors team activities and ensures that the designated team is obtaining the needed placements.

 

Contribute to the team results by making own placements. Focus on continuance and acquisition of repeated and new business. Ensure team is proactively developing and sustaining a network of candidates and good working relationships with clients. Able to develop and implement a recruitment and resourcing plan for team.

 

Overview of the Role 

  • Makes decisions on the best approach to complex assignments based on own knowledge and experience.
  • Works under limited supervision of the Business Director and within general guidelines.
  • Coaches colleagues and team members and may contribute to business development efforts.
  • Responsible for team targets.
  • May act as lead contact person for a location or country under the supervision of the Business Director.
  • Contributes to the development of working methods.
  • Identifies bottlenecks proactively and takes an active role in prevention and resolution. Handles/Supervises complex staffing needs in project teams.
  • Search process is also focused on complex, specialized functions.
  • Skilled head hunter.

Role Requirements

  • You will possess a 4 year degree along with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of people management experience and three or more years of experience recruiting within the clinical industry.
  • You will have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and possess the ability to multitask, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated history of being solutions oriented, working through issues and recruitment challenges.
