ICON plc. is seeking a Sourcing Specialist who will drive end to end the best hiring practices and a consultative approach to key partners ensuring development and execution of recruitment strategies, maintaining compliance measuring effective recruitment metrics.

Overview of the Role:

  • Build strategic talent pipelines ensuring a positive image and awareness of the company is promoted at all times.
  • Design creative sourcing strategies to attract candidates from within the marketplace in a cost effective manner.
  • Utilize market data and business insight to target and hire top talent.
  • Collaborate with Recruiting Specialists, providing insight, support and recommendations on candidates for interview.
  • Ensure efficiency in time to hire is maintained, while maintaining a high level of accuracy within ICON’s Applicant Tracking System, Taleo
  • Prioritize workload to ensure a best-in-class recruitment service is delivered, ensuring the most effective recruitment strategies to maintain cost per hire. Improve and support awareness of internal referral program and where required, focused effort on diversity.
  • Recommend, coordinate and participate in hiring events such as Job Fairs, external recruiting and other networking events.
  • Forecast placements based on demand, changes in the customers’ business, talent pipeline and trends in business demand.
  • Produce timely and accurate activity reporting for your business areas.
  • Create and maintain dedicated and constructive relationships with VP/Director level by demonstrating an understanding of the business, the associated requirements and set expectations accordingly.
  • Actively partner with the business to identify their talent pool and grow future successors, consider gaps when hiring.
  • Build customer commercial value through responsive recruitment services and the delivery of cost effective results.

Role Requirements

  • Experience with Social Media platforms, specifically Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Technical skills (data entry, databases, online systems).
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal), professionalism and social skills.
  • High attention to detail and efficient organization skills
  • Flexibility of working with different time zones.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
