Senior Clinical Research Associate - California - Cardio Medical Device (Field Based)

As a Senior Clinical Research Associate, you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organization, powered by healthcare intelligence.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned sites on a cardiovascular/electrophysiology medical device trial.
• Monitor a single protocol across all trial phases, ensuring compliance with SOPs, policies, and local regulations.
• Conduct site visits, manage study start-up, ongoing monitoring, and close-out activities.
• Partner closely with investigators and site staff to support quality data collection, patient safety, and recruitment strategies.
• Ensure sites are inspection-ready with timely documentation and accurate data in CTMS and eTMF.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues, implement CAPAs, and drive study timelines forward.

You Are:

• A Bachelor’s degree holder in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field
• Based in California, with the ability to travel up to 65% regionally
• An experienced CRA with 5+ years of monitoring experience, ideally in cardiac or electrophysiology medical devices (strong pharma monitoring experience will be considered)
• A strong communicator and collaborator with a proactive approach to site engagement and study team communication
• Skilled in remote and onsite monitoring, risk-based monitoring, and analytical thinking
• Tech-savvy with experience in CTMS, EDC, IWRS, eTMF, and safety databases
• Knowledgeable in GCP, ICH guidelines, and U.S. regulatory requirements
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Pay Range ($110,520.00 USD – $131,150.00 USD)

*Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education/training, and skill level.
