Do you have experience coordinating, developing, negotiating, and executing all client/sponsor contracts and change orders for newly awarded and on-going projects?

Senior Contract Analyst role within ICON:

We work with top pharmaceutical organizations on emerging therapeutic areas which include but are not limited to Oncology, Vaccines, CNS, Cardiovascular and Pain. The Sr. Contract Analyst will coordinate, develop, negotiate, and execute all client/sponsor contracts and change orders for newly awarded and on-going projects. Develop a good working knowledge of ICON’s costing tools, client budget grids, and any tools and templates developed within the contracts management group. Coordinate, develop, and negotiate contracts and change orders for newly awarded and on-going projects at ICON. Solicit input and review of contracts and change orders from the relevant operational departments. Understand reasons and, when warranted, challenge supporting information provided by the project team related to budget changes (timeline, specifications, tasks, hours, etc.) and that the budget changes are reasonable and justified. Understand and interpret legal language contained in a MSA, Letter of Intents, Start-up Agreements and standalone contracts. Build relationships with ICON project teams, sales, proposals, finance, project analysis, and ICON management. Build relationships and understand work practices with clients and other ICON business units. Build strong client relationships and understand their respective contractual and work practices and guide the ICON project managers, project teams, finance, etc. to follow such practices.Provide training and/or mentoring to Contract Analysts/Associates personnel; in addition, provide presentations to the contracts group related to topics selected by the contracts management team. Ensure clear and direct communication when corresponding (verbally or written) with the ICON project team and client on the status of the contract and/or change order. Organize, lead, chair, and manage internal meetings and/or client related meetings required related to contracts and change orders. Travel (approximately 10%) domestic and/or international.

To succeed you will need:

We are seeking candidates with a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal development, contract management, or work related.

To be successful you will be expected to demonstrate the ability to work independently, be highly motivated and be a strong team player working well in a strong team environment. Demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter and function in a high paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication (oral and written) and organization skills. Excellent working knowledge of MS Office package
