Senior Human Resources Manager - EMEA *LI-SS1

We are actively looking to speak with experienced Senior HR professionals who are interested in joining our dynamic HR team and leading our EMEA HR Manager team.
Ideally having a HR Business Partner background with People Leader experience with demonstrated ability to business partner with senior stakeholders across the EMEA region. As a creative and strategic thinker you will have experience in areas such as talent management and planning, employee engagement, change management, employee relations and succession Planning and country and regional HR compliance.
The Role:
- Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values around our commitment to people, clients and performance.
- As a Manager, you will recognize the importance of and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.
- Delivery of complex case management advice on key areas such as disciplinary, performance management, redundancy, long term sickness and issues that require country specific interaction.Responsible for proactive management of employee relations, legal compliance and ensuring HR policies meet these requirements in designated region.
- Support the implementation of people plans in your service lines through the rollout of HR programmes by working in collaboration with ICON’s People Leaders.
- Proactively work with Managers in your market to highlight and identify key trends and issues arising from data from Key HR metrics such as, turnover reports, absence and performance reviews and propose specific plans to assist and advise improvements.
- Build strong working relationships with key Managers within your region of responsibility partnering with them to impellent a people plan.
- Provide a proactive HR consultation service to all people managers advising them on all issues that arise in their teams.
- As a Regional Lead, provide advice and line management to the HR Managers reporting to you and advise on all issues that are escalated and ensure appropriate resolution.
- Provide general guidance and leadership to your team and become proficient in the local legislation of your countries of responsibility.
- Ownership for key strategic HR projects that will add great impact for IOCN business and allow HRM to gain business understanding and experience
- Work closely with the HR Service Centre Manager and the HR Service Centre Team to ensure a smooth transition on local issues and ensure clarity on when the team should handover or escalate.
- Support and coach people managers on complex employee issues.
- As a people leader, you will be responsible for setting clear goals and objectives for the HR management team
The Person:
- At least 5 years’ experience within a HR Manager role.
- CIPD qualified with a HR Degree or Master’s qualification.
- People Leadership experience with the ability to lead and develop a team.
- Demonstrable experience in leading large HR projects across designated regions.
- Strong experience within employee relations, change management, talent and reward.
- Experience working with senior management.
- Personable with great communication skills.
- A strategic thinker with strong influencing and negotiating skills.
