• Demonstrate technical proficiency in PBMC/BMMC isolations, magnetic bead-based isolations, DNA isolation, and PCR (QuantStudio experience desirable but not essential).
• Act as a mentor to team members, leading by example and setting high standards for quality, compliance, and scientific practice.
• Oversee reagent and consumable inventory, ensuring appropriate storage, traceability, and expiry management.
• Lead by example in areas of daily laboratory and equipment upkeep in line with SOPs.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of laboratory testing in compliance with company procedures, CAP standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Uphold ICON’s values, demonstrating accountability, and a commitment to quality, client delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Operate independently with sound judgement, supporting the Laboratory Management Team in daily section oversight and performance reporting.
• Perform and review laboratory testing and reporting in accordance with SOPs and agreed turnaround times.
• Accurately record, review, and release results, QC data, and batch documentation in LIMS/LIS.
• Maintain compliance with internal and external QC procedures, including management of deviations, CAPAs, and corrective action records.
• Support investigations, root cause analysis, audit responses, and client or internal quality queries.
• Support training, competency assessment, and ongoing technical development, maintaining accurate training records.
• Assist with SOP authorship, assay validation, and implementation of new or improved laboratory procedures.
