Overview of the role
The Principal/Sr. Principal will provide leadership and strategic vision in the definition, implementation, and management of commercialisation strategy and science (CS&S) consulting services. 
 
This role will lead and support development and provision of Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO), Clinical Outcomes Assessments (COA), and eCOA across ICON Divisions and Departments. Utilizes ICON´s existing expertise and technologies and explores strategies to include new capabilities and technologies to increase ICON´s reputation, presence and share in the market. Works across ICON Divisions and Departments to increase awareness amongst other stakeholders for ICO-specific needs and requirements.  Provides executive project and department overview, and acts as point of resolution on projects and resourcing issues as required

To succeed you will need:
 
Minimum of 15 years’ work experience in a similar role (including but not limited to experience in the development and/or delivery of patient reported outcomes tools and services, development of eClinical systems and services, clinical research).    
Experience of working in a health care consultancy environment
Knowledge of PRO, COA, and eCOA techniques and methodologies
Good understanding of the overall clinical development process and solid experience in new technologies
Experience in eClinical Product Management
Demonstrable experience of people management, business management, and business development
Professional life science degree, or equivalent, required
