ICON is seeking a dynamic and intelligent team member to join our growing Pricing and Market Access team. As a Sr. Principal within our Global P&MA practice, you will drive customer engagement and sales growth by supporting our current clients while leveraging your client-facing business development expertise to generate new business.
Responsibilities:
- Leading project delivery of medium to large sized domestic and international projects
- Leading market research interviews and advisory boards with prominent payer and KOL stakeholders
- Lead client communications such as project status, client meetings and final presentations
- Achieve high client satisfaction and repeat engagements
- Lead internal initiatives to expand expertise within pricing and market access project types, methodologies, and pricing and reimbursement policy horizon scanning
- Contribute to external thought leadership initiatives including client training webinars, journal publications, congress presentations and white papers
- Demonstrate and actively promote an open and honest working environment to encourage close teamwork, foster knowledge transfer, and provide clear direction to all employees
Role Requirements
- Significant experience working in a health care consultancy or Pharmaceutical/ Biotech commercial strategy role, ideally in pricing, reimbursement or product valuation.
- Industry experience (pricing, forecasting, more general commercial strategy) or managed care/ reimbursement policy consulting or related experience (strategy consulting to healthcare industry, market research) that supplements an advanced degree.
- Strong record of generating new leads and follow up on business with clients
- Prior experience managing a team and mentoring junior staff members is required. In order to travel we may require a valid driver's license and the willingness to travel when needed.
