Senior Programmer Analyst

Summary

To Supervise and support other Programmer Analysts and responsible for the programming of Technical Operation software.

Job Requirements/ responsibilities

·         Program IVRS/IWRS and other software applications at all levels of complexity as designed in a timely manner in adherence with ICON SOPs and appropriate project specifications.

·         Participate in functional and/or technical discussions with project team and/or client.

·         Keep project team informed of project status in relation to quality and timelines.

·         Ability to thoroughly review design specifications and/or user requirements.

·         Write study installation procedures if applicable.

·         Prepare & perform code review of IVRS/IWRS and other software applications.

·         Ability to thoroughly component test code to minimize the number of programming errors.

·         Write unit tests for software applications if applicable.

·         Write technical specifications or other technical documents if applicable.

·         Assist other programmers with tasks as needed including install procedures, code reviews, component testing, and programming.

·         Ability to complete projects and other tasks efficiently and within the allocated timelines with little or no supervision.

·         Assist Senior/Lead to maintain system wide programming standards and guidelines as needed to improve efficiency and promote quality and consistency.

·         Ability to perform technical research and propose viable technical solutions.

·         Ability to determine and make improvements to current processes and applications.

·         Ability to work on any software product feature.

To succeed you will need:

·         Prior proven application development experience with VB.Net, C#, C, Delphi/Pascal, and/or JAVA.

·         Minimum 5-7 years web development experience with ASP, ASP.Net, HTML, CSS and/or Java Script.

·         Prior proven SQL programming experience.

·         Prior proven object oriented programming experience.

·         Ability to successfully balance multiple projects and timelines.

·         Ability to understand and program a design of moderate levels of complexity.

·         Extensive problem solving and debugging skills.

·         Bachelor’s degree, or local equivalent, in Computer Science or a related discipline

·         Data integration, data warehousing, ETL, or data exchange/transfer  experience a plus.

·          Experience working with SSIS, Epic, EMR/EHR, iPaaS or Web Services a plus.
