Project Manager, Decentralized Clinical Trials

Summary 

ICON are currently seeking an experienced clinical research professional to join us as a Senior Project Manager in Decentralised Clinical Trials . The Senior Project Manager will bring operational experience and insight to lead strategic definition, design, build and deploy innovative digital health solutions to transform clinical trials. This is a unique opportunity to join an industry leader at the vanguard of clinical research.  

Primary Responsibilities

• Influence and orchestrate thought leaders in overall delivery capabilities with focus on partnering operations with technology
• Leads discussion and presentation with internal and external leaders to gather feedback on solutions to support product roadmap
• Connect operational and technical stakeholders to achieve successful requirements definition, technology design and operational deployment
• Facilitate cross functional teams to collate requirements and support the technical team in understanding the business needs.
• Participates in the definition and development of product value proposition relative to market needs.
• Work collaboratively with PMs within the team to define and develop an overall strategy to effectively influence the culture of the organization.
• Manage escalate issues as they arise and proactively mitigate.

Qualifications

This position would be suitable for someone that has an in-depth understanding of the clinical trial process and the challenges that arise in different service areas, as well demonstrable experience leading effective cross-functional teams.

• BS / BSc degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
• 5 years of experience in life science and/or clinical trial setting
• Ability to rapidly shift priorities, adjust for demands, and manage complex programs
• Thorough knowledge of ICH-GCP, data privacy standards and local regulatory regulations regarding drug research and development required
