The Role:
This position is on-site in our Cambridge, MA lab.
As a Senior Research Associate at ICON you’ll learn more about how you can be a vital part of ICON Central Laboratories which is dedicated exclusively to central laboratory testing and the associate services for clinical trials.
- Perform DNA/RNA purification from clinical samples (blood and FFPE tissues) and PCR/ddPCR/NGS assays on Illumina sequencing instruments by following lab SOPs.
- Collaborate with team members and complete lab projects and tasks on time.
- Analyze ddPCR and NGS results; prepare data report and enter data into clinical databases.
- Work with external technical support to troubleshoot instrument or assay failures.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or equivalent.
- Previous lab experience required.
- Previous experience with ddPCR and NGS in clinical lab setting is a plus!
