Job Title : Senior Solutions Architect

Reporting to : Senior Director
Type of Employment : Full Time
Location : Chennai, office based

Summary:

Supports the definition of ICON's Future State RPA Architecture, and performs the necessary leadership, analysis, design & communication tasks to define or ensure that Solution Architectures (SA) for programs of work are aligned with the future state and RPA
  • Design RPA solutions appropriate for current infrastructure capabilities and in line with robotic process automation.
  • Develop RPA platform architecture that aligns with ICON infrastructure and security guidelines and is fit for purpose for ICONs automation strategy.
  • Develop tools and processes to ensure consistent successful deployment of new RPA projects
  • Technically assess new process automations for suitability to RPA and develop technical roadmap for deployments.
  • Analyze the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Analyze technology industry and market trends, and figure out their potential impact on the enterprise.
  • Define the principles to guide solution decisions for the enterprise.
  • Design and direct the governance activities associated with ensuring SA compliance.
  • Clearly articulate options, supported by summary costs/benefits/risks to support executive/steering level communication.
  • Coordinate solution architecture implementation and modification activities.
  • Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards, as well as the design of standard software configurations.
  • Consult with application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture, and identify when it is necessary to modify the solution architecture to accommodate project needs.
  • Identify the social impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures or culture) and financial impact of the SA.
  • Document all solution architecture design and analysis work.
  • Work closely with the enterprise program management office (EPMO) or project office to ensure alignment of plans with what is being delivered

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Seven to ten years of experience in at least two IT disciplines in an enterprise role designing enterprise applications, RPA and / or Integration solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of RPA architectures and principals.
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
  • Extraordinary social skills, including partnership, facilitation and negotiation.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning and social skills.
  • Knowledge of all components of an enterprise technical architecture.
  • Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes.
  • Basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting.
  • Deep understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study.
