Site Identification Lead

- To lead the Site Identification process for studies by being accountable/responsible for the development of Site Identification Plans (based on an approved country strategy), Site Profiles and Protocol specific site requirements appropriate to the individual study needs and in alignment with sponsor requirements
- To liaise with the Study Start up Lead, PM and CTMs on the study to ensure delivery of the study start up timelines in terms of initiated sites and First Patient In (FPI) milestones
- To ensure all sites proposed for selection are of a high quality standard and meet all site profile, due diligence and protocol specific site requirements
- To act as subject matter expert in Site Identification/Selection process for internal and external customers alike and to provide input to Team members, Project teams, Business Development and to Sponsors.
- Lead a cross-regional/ global group of Site Identification Specialists or CRAs in conducting Site Identification/ site contact for feasibility
- Mentoring/training of Site Identification Specialists/ Leads or seconded CRAs in terms of conduct of Site Identification may be required
- Have a background in medicine, science or other relevant discipline with substantial international experience in clinical drug development across a broad range of therapeutic areas.
- EU/APAC- Proven experience in a health care or a clinical research environment Proven industry experience with some experience in Site identification planning in addition to a minimum of 2 years’ experience across a broad range of therapeutic areas as a manager and / or project manager.
- Excellent communicator, both in written and spoken language. Able to produce reports and project plans to a high standard in addition to being able to review the quality and content of reports produced by the Recruitment planning Team. Fluent in English is essential.
- Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore, dependent on the employee’s location, the employee may be required to possess a valid driver’s license.
- Bachelor’s degree, or local equivalent, in a life-science, scientific discipline, medical and / or communication or business studies.
