You would be part of a global team while managing a team of HR Professionals. This role will be based in our North Wales PA office.
The Senior HR Manager role will lead the Americas HR Manager team and provide HR Business Partner support for our Global Business Services group. Responsibilities include managing a dynamic team of HR Managers; setting clear goals and objectives, while also developing the team to build key stakeholder relationships to drive business performance. Liaise closely with your Asia Pac and EMEA counterparts. You would have regular interaction with senior leaders, partnering with them on enhancing management capability and meeting business objectives through their teams. You will develop a strong business understanding of the company and service lines to provide coaching and consultation to the HR Manager team and people leaders about current and future needs, supporting people strategies, plans and processes, as well as provide guidance on employee relations and coach HR Managers and people leaders how to handle difficult situations. Support people leaders in developing their leadership voice through skillful employee communications in support of the desired culture. You will come to the role with the ability to engage in difficult discussions with the business, challenge and influence decision making while driving changes where needed. You, as well as the team you lead, will identify opportunities for process improvement, program initiatives and roll out programs and trainings that support and drive business objectives.

We are searching for someone who is comfortable interacting and presenting in front of organizational leadership while understanding and ensuring the employee experience at ICON is representative of our culture. We want this person to proactively identify gaps and anticipate needs for the HR Manager team and assigned client group by identifying the needs of the business proactively and ascertaining trends and gaps for management development that will impact company performance.
You should have at least seven years of experience working as an HR manager, delivering complex case management to a diverse business; a working knowledge of employment law in North America and HR practices; employee relations case management, the ability to deliver management trainings to stakeholders; and a Bachelor’s level degree (MBA, HR, or other business degree preferred). Prior experience managing a team is strongly preferred. PHR/SPHR certification is desirable.
