Our Clinical Outcomes Assessment (COA) team requires Strategic Account Executives to develop new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through regular and meaningful communication with existing and new clients. They serve a senior role on the account management team, leading the development of competitive RFP/RFI responses and bid defense presentations through close collaboration with Outcomes Research scientific leadership. They proactively and independently expand their knowledge base of constantly evolving industry trends, news and best practices.

The COA team sits within ICON’s Commercialization and Outcomes group. These services are geared to meet the demands of global and national markets for high quality patient-centered data. Our COA team brings together a large team of scientists and consultants with expertise in selection, development, validation and analysis of PROs and other COA instruments.
We currently have an opportunity for a Strategic Account Executive, based out of our Durham, North Carolina office. The Strategic Account Executive creates a critical connection between our clients and our scientific experts.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate awareness of key competitors and how our service offering can provide a superior experience to our clients. Open to 15% travel domestic and/or international. You will have at least 3 years experience in a similar role and advanced proficiency with MS-Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MSA development, pricing negotiation and bid defense experience. Bachelor's Degree or local equivalent preferably in business, communication or social sciences is required. A background with proven ability to work in an environment that is fast paced, problem-solving capabilities, dynamic presentation skills, and great interpersonal skills. Also drive, passion and a strong sense of team work in a multi-language/multi-cultural environment, along with a desire to progress within our organization.
