Supervisor -General Laboratory

Do you hold a Medical Laboratory Technician's diploma or BSc degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Biomedical Science where a significant component of which involved the study of Chemistry, Haematology, Immunology, and/or Infectious Diseases?

 

Based within ICON Central Laboratories, the Laboratory Supervisor role involves ensuring the Central Laboratory is meeting the highest quality standards. Performing the general technical assignments and testing in the section in accordance with current procedures and quality standards, ensuring that turnaround times agreed in each contract are met.

The responsibilities for this role include supervising the daily activities of the laboratory department within quality and budgetary guidelines. Ensures work in accordance of agreed turnaround time. Monitors and review proficiency testing, operational and department budget, laboratory quality control data, quality control systems and corrective actions.

To apply, as well as a Medical Laboratory Technician's diploma or BSc degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Biomedical Science, you will need a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience within a Blood Science environment.
