- Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international
- * Works with datacenter management to coordinate datacenter schedules, plans, timelines and resource assignments
- * Daily supervision of IT Datacenter Operations personnel with responsibility for maintaining the availability of global infrastructure and applications
- * Keep Management apprised of any system level issue that may affect system availability
- Works with the Disaster Recovery Lead to ensure that the annual disaster recovery testing is planned and executed as required
- Provide technical consulting and hands on assistance as required during critical situations when problems arise
- * Planning and coordination of server installations, upgrades, routine maintenance and vendor-supplied patches in accordance with established Information Technology (IT) policies and procedures
- * Ensures that team members implement system changes in a fashion whereby user impact is minimal. Effective communication to office staff and local management is necessary for any significant system changes or planned system outage activities
- *Maybe asked to attend weekly Change Control and Problem Management meetings to gain awareness of changes to the landscapes/problems within the global computing environment and to ensure the appropriate actions are taken
- Prioritize and assign Service Desk tickets to team members as appropriate.
- Provide timely response to escalations in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs); act as technical escalation and resource to team members
- Provides input and aids in the development of IT Operations Standard Operating Procedures, working procedures and test scripts
- Research software and systems products and technologies to justify recommendations and support purchasing efforts.
- * Coordinate and collaborate with other functional areas within IT to ensure availability, reliability and scalability of global infrastructure to meet business requirements.
- * Ensure that all required datacenter checks and controls are performed according to the established schedule

- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills required.
- US/LATAM/CAN: A minimum of 7 years of related experience in a technical position supporting server environments required.
- EU/APAC: In depth proven related experience in a technical position supporting server environments required.
- A team player with ability to communicate across functional departments.
- Ability to contribute to and to execute the company's IT vision.
- Ability to define problems, analyze relevant data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Working knowledge of various technologies including items such as: Operating Systems, Exchange, clustering services, TCP/IP (and network services), VoIP and VPN
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining server/network hardware and associated equipment.
- General knowledge of storage technologies such as storage area network (SAN) or Network-attached storage (NAS) as well as Unix based operating systems.
- Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore, dependent on the employee’s location, the employee may be required to possess a valid driver’ss license.

- Bachelor’s Degree, or local equivalent, in related field or equivalent relevant work experience; Industry standard certifications preferred..
