Responsible to design, develop, document, test, support and maintain intuitive data-driven web and client server applications for client projects and internal initiatives using strong analytical and technical design and/or management skills to maximize ease of use and efficiency. Works with other IT team members, management and business units to apply knowledge of programming, Internet and related technologies to design, compose and deploy applications as well as researching and evaluating alternative solutions and making recommendations to enhance productivity. This position will have direct client contact and may also have supervisory responsibilities.
Given the nature of the work, you will at times be asked to be flexible and to offer extended support outside of your normal working hours to meet the business needs. This may also include weekend work and travel.

· A strong front-end web developer that can design, develop and maintain effective User Interfaces for web-based applications and websites.
· Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS with the ability to code responsive layouts from scratch with experience with CSS preprocessors, such as SASS and LESS.
· Strong working knowledge of JavaScript for use in front-end or server-side functions
· Must understand build chains and task runners for Node.JS, such as Blendid, Gulp or Grunt
· Skilled at leveraging RESTFUL APIs and parsing JSON for use in web applications.
· Ability to work with designers to advise best practices for responsive web, including but not limited to column-grid layout, mobile UI design and accessibility.
· Debug, test, support, maintain, provide training and documentation for existing and newly developed applications.
· Enjoys code collaboration and strives for efficiency.
· Desire to learn new web technology and find ways to apply them to real world solutions as prototypes and new client offerings.
· Work effectively as an individual contributor, manager and/or as part of a project team.
· Deliver prototypes and user interface designs.
· Develop clean professional applications from beta to deliverable.
· Maintain, customize, enhance and support servers/Intranet
· Actively participate to be a productive member in brainstorming sessions.
· Apply working knowledge of how front-end design connects into back-end data resources.
· Participate in the development of proposals from a technical perspective.
· Coordinate final production and delivery on assigned projects as needed.
· Deliver review-friendly prototypes for in-house and client review that have a professional finish and a full and clear set of review instructions/queries.
· Ensure deliverable product is optimized for performance and meets all requirements, specifications, timelines and needs.
· Ensure product security and accuracy/compliance with required standards and platform/browser compatibility.
· Work with appropriate colleagues to obtain Quality sign-off where applicable.
· Meet time allocations for assignments so that deadlines are met and projects are completed to client satisfaction.
· Organize, prioritize and efficiently coordinate multiple work activities and meet critical deadlines with minimal to no supervision.
· Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the Company and its clients.
· Use the time reporting system; signing and reporting all exception time on a weekly basis.
· Complete other administrative tasks (such as travel expense forms) in a timely manner.
· Perform responsibilities in professional manner, meeting Company mission and goals.
This job may or may not have supervisory responsibilities depending on the needs of the business. When it does, the incumbent carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include:

- Planning, assigning, and directing work
- Appraising performance
- Rewarding and disciplining employees
Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Requirements:
- Degree in related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, creative environment focused on digital projects
- Working knowledge of design tools including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to effectively interface with Designers.
- Expert level use of Development Environment
