Bio
I became interested in applying for a role at ICON after being in contact with CRAs from the organisation when I was a Study Coordinator. The CRAs I met were knowledgeable and easy to work with, and I knew ICON had a strong international presence in the clinical research field.
After gaining my B.A. in Biological Sciences from DePauw University, I spent 20 years working in Clinical Research with seven as a Study Coordinator. I’ve also worked in Laboratory Support before settling into the CRA role, and have been with ICON since 2013.
ICON hires the best people and this commitment is seen across Clinical Operations. People who are self-motivated, innovative and those who possess a strong team mentality thrive at ICON.
Since working here, I’ve had opportunities to travel internationally, mentored other CRAs, presented at an investigator meeting and conducted a site recruitment teleconference. I’ve also been involved with iLearn, ICON’s online learning system, which provides excellent opportunities for CRAs to receive training based on their current assignment and future aspirations.
