Bio
I’ve been working for ICON for three years now and I’ve really enjoyed it so far. I started with them as a Statistician and now I’m a SAS Programmer II. I love how flexible this role is, depending on the study, I can be working in so many different ways – sometimes I’ll be immersed in programming, sometimes trouble shooting and then stretching my lead skills on a large study that involves many different deliverables. I do all of this whilst keeping up to date with department and companywide practise and working to increase efficiency in our day to day job.
Moving from Statistician to Programmer was a fantastic career opportunity for me. It allowed me the chance to develop my lead skills and to refocus towards programming code. I like the way that the culture at ICON isn’t just focused on cost but on always striving for the highest quality. The people that I work with are really one of the best things about working here, I always feel so supported by my colleagues and managers alike and I feel that has really given me the opportunity to further myself in my role.
