Business Development (DOCS – US)
Summary:
DOCS is the leading provider of strategic resourcing and FSP services into the Pharmaceutical; Biotechnology; and Medical Device industry globally and an integral part of ICON plc. A success story for ICON, DOCS have aggressively increased market share and are now the fastest growing division of ICON plc.
We are now looking to strengthen our successful US BD team through the recruitment of a Business Development Director..
As a BD Director you will be responsible for generating new and repeat business for DOCS, promoting our services throughout the Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology industries.
Working cross functionally, you will ensure a smooth process at all stages (proposal, bid defence) which maximises the opportunity for success. You will build strong relationships throughout your geographic responsibility, highlighting DOCS’ strength and reliability in operations, promoting DOCS as a preferred industry partner.
To be successful in this role you should have a (clinical) solutions sales background.
In return you will receive an excellent base salary and commissions structure. Additionally you will work within a supportive environment and a well led business, conducive to you achieving professional and financial success.
