Spotfire Developer – Can be based in Dublin, Paris or Warsaw

Are you a Spotfire developer? Would you like to join a dynamic team building a suite of clinical and operational reporting solutions for a key pharma client? Develop your analytics experience in a clinical research setting? Then this is the job for you.

Job description

Perform development activities thru elicitation and analysis of business requirements from stakeholders, through developing code, to testing and product deployment.
Design and build cross-page visualization solutions, comprehensive dashboards and reports in Spotfire
Build information models, including database write-back
Write R and IronPython scripts to support visual analytics solutions
Use data mapping, extraction, transformation and load techniques to develop outputs for clinical and operational reporting
Communicate reporting requirements and solutions effectively to other team members and stakeholders

Experience required

Essential

Bachelor’s degree, or local equivalent, in computer science, mathematics, life science, information management or equivalent
Proven track record developing solutions in TIBCO Spotfire, including ETL tools, Information Designer, IronPython and TERR
Thorough understanding of data mapping, extraction, transformation and load concepts and techniques; intermediate data modelling capabilities; and good data analysis skills.
Able to organize technical work; demonstrate excellent planning, problem solving, analysis, documentation, presentation and organization skills; prioritize work load; make recommendations;

Highly Desirable

Good competency in a range of data manipulation and presentation tools, such as SQL, SAS, R, python, RegEx, HTML and JavaScript
Good foundation in business analysis and client relationship management, particularly requirements elicitation and analysis
Good presentation skills and ability to communicate analytics requirements and solutions effectively to other team members and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, applications and techniques
Experience in pharma industry, including working with clinical data
