Assistant Clinical Data Coordinator

Functional Knowledge:
• Enhanced functional knowledge level of coding in the context of clinical data management.
Business Expertise:
• Ability to link enhanced knowledge of Coding to accomplish own work.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as required
Leadership:
• As required may lead a team of coders for a single study.
• May include client interaction.
• No supervisory responsibilities; but may provide formal guidance to less experienced team members.
• Typically 3-6 years of experience in this role. An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered in place of education and experience requirements.
Problem Solving:
• Use existing procedures to solve problems where solutions are not readily apparent.
Impact:
• Contribute to the achievement of goals through personal effort and influence over others. Work is done independently, assessed at critical points.
Interpersonal Skills:
• Adapt style and use persuasion in delivering messages. Issues may be complex, audience perspectives may be divergent, and information may be non-routine in nature.
