Data Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. The Data Analyst will be responsible for performing daily activities involved in read preparation, backup and data entry. This individual will also be required to perform light technical work under advisement of technical staff.

Overview of the Role

• Export blinded read datasets*
• Review of subject listings relevant to read*
• Prepare blinded read databases for review sessions*
• QC of incorporated transfer spec changes*
• Review of outgoing study exports*
• Quality review of incoming clinical data*
• Create and execute test plans*
• Run reports to verify reader case, key variables and database coding accuracy*
• Assist in maintaining database documentation
• Implement quality control procedures*
• Enter and maintain reader cases, key and default database tracking information
• Investigate and analyze discrepancies in data and report to OBA*
• Scan reconciliation activities*
• Light programming activities under guidance of OBA
• Implementing change control under guidance of OBA
• Track database change requests
• Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international
• Other duties as assigned

• Trained in computerized systems in clinical trials

• Bachelor degree or local equivalent preferred
