Configuration & QC Specialist I

We are currently seeking a Configuration & QC (C&Q) Specialist I to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a C&Q Specialist I at ICON Central Laboratories (ICL), you will play a pivotal role in building and amending laboratory specifications within the clinical trial database (LIMs), contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

What you will be doing

• Assisting ICL Project Managers and Setup Specialists in the configuration and setup of clinical trial laboratory database ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

• Performing quality control (QC) checks on clinical trial database and study documentation to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and data entry errors.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including ICL Project Management, ICL Setup Specialists and Scientific Affairs to address QC findings and ensure data integrity and reliability.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field

• 1+ years of experience in clinical data management, data entry, a laboratory environment or related role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

• Familiarity with information management systems (such as LIMS).

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and processes.
