About the Director, Business Development role at ICON:
If so, ICON could be the opportunity for you. We are a European led global CRO  looking for someone who can help drive growth of our partnerships to fulfill our ambitious strategic goals, building on our success during 2013. You will work with various functions to manage the proposal, contract and change order process and generate new and repeat business for ICON within the Biotechnology, Medical Device, and Pharmaceutical Industries.
 
With a successful track record of full-service CRO sales across all phases of clinical research, you will build and develop close commercial relationships at senior levels within clients and potential clients.  Basing these relationships on mutual trust you will optimize the likelihood of winning and retaining business.

To succeed you will need:
The successful candidate will work from home but must be located on the East Coast with at least 6 years sales experience. We are seeking a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3-6 years of CRO sales experience within Phase II-IIIb. You must possess a valid drivers liscense and be willing to travel up to 75% as neccessary to meet customer engagement goals.
