Financial Analyst II

Are you looking for a varied and challenging senior Financial Analyst II role that combines activities from data compilation, financial analysis and reporting for internal and external clients, and financial modeling? ICON’s Financial Analyst II opportunity will allow you to function as a key Business Partner supporting external client requests and internal departments with reports that entail operational and financial analysis designed to improve project profitability.

About the Financial Analyst II role within ICON: 

As part of ICON’s Commercial Business Partners’ group the senior Financial Analyst II will be responsible for preparing external client financial reports related to study and portfolio customer requests. The Financial Analyst II will also assist in developing monthly reporting packages for study teams, including timelines, hours/units vs. budget, burn rates, metrics and trend analysis, gross margin review, forecasting, resource management and invoicing.

The Financial Analyst II will prepare ad hoc financial and business case analysis, including customer portfolio financial modeling, as well as prepare presentations for project reviews.

To succeed you will need:

You will need a Bachelor’s Degree along with a minimum of 2 to 4 years’ experience in financial analysis or financial planning and analysis. Solid academic record and strong quantitative skills, effective verbal and written skills to work with peers, managers, and Business Lead executives, strong Microsoft Excel, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
