Firecrest Clinical is part of the ICON plc Group and produces highly visual and engaging products for the Clinical Trial Industry. Firecrest products help improve Site performance by delivering innovative and effective training to sites while complying with Industry Standards. As an organisation responsible for the development of clinical training for medical staff, the Content and Functional Reviewer role is critical to the delivery of accurate and high quality training products to our clients.


The Role:

The Firecrest Supervisor provides management and oversight to the Firecrests Team.

The Firecrest Supervisor ensures that excellent quality and efficiency levels are maintained for their function at all times.

The Firecrest Supervisor liaises closely with other functions within Firecrest to ensure that all teams work together efficiently to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain key metrics for function.

  • Establish baseline and provide reports.

  • Provide actions for out of range areas.

  • Ensure processes are in place to allow Firecrest to meet all sponsor & internal operations timelines - ensure timelines align at an Ops level with other functions

  • Implement ongoing reviews to improve systems efficiency and quality within the department.

  • Actively support new business opportunities by interacting with customers where required, collaborating with business development and other service areas, providing operational input, meeting commitments and building confidence in the ICON business model with the customers and stakeholders.

  • Monitor customer feedback and highlight areas that require improvements or greater functionality

  • Manage team vacation and leave to provide adequate staffing levels at all times.

  • Monitor team performance and ensure 100 % completion of the staff performance management process. Drive a high performance culture; including clear goal setting, regular appraisals; develop high performers

  • Identify opportunities for high-potential talent in order to increase retention and motivation and build longer term succession.
