Imaging Specialist (M - F, 1:00 - 9:30 pm)

This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed Imaging Technologist that’s seeking to work in the Clinical Research Industry.  Learn more about how you can be a part of a Medical Imaging team that offers complete solutions for clinical trials that require the acquisition, collection, management and analysis of global medical image data.

About the Imaging Specialist role within ICON: 

The Imaging Specialist will be responsible for daily image quality review, image processing, and site technical assessment and provide clinical support to Core Lab operations.

The Imaging Specialist will also have the opportunity to be the operational contact for the following activities – communicating with client, sites, site technical personnel and Clinical Research Associates to deliver high quality standards and strive for excellence; conduct site Imaging Manual Training calls in support of study site training; serve as monitor for Independent Analysis Sessions and assisting Project Managers with the development of project specific Procedure Manuals; participate in project team meetings providing image QC status updates; oversee Quality Control of Offsite Assessments/Blinded Reads; update and maintain Project Tracking Logs as required; mentor peers as required for cross training; and offer technical support for business development.  Some travel maybe be required - (approximately 10%) domestic and/or international.

To succeed you will need:

You will need to be a licensed Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of clinical imaging experience.  You will possess excellent organizational, documentation and communication skills along with proficiency in business computer skills.  Trained in Good Clinical Practices and in Good Documentation Practices a plus.

Ultrasound / Echo Technologist

DEXA is a plus.
