 Role responsibilities include:

·         To act as Legal Associate within the Study Start Up Legal Support Team.

·         To support start up activities by providing legal assistance and support on investigator contracts, site Master Service Agreements or any other legal documents.

·         To maintain ICON’s standard investigator templates, to manage & share knowledge regarding local country/site investigator contracts as well as managing and sharing country specific knowledge.

Experience & Knowledge Requirements:

·         Paralegal or legal executive.

·         Superior English written and oral communication skills. Additional foreign language would be advantageous.

·         Excellent attention to detail.

·         Proven experience in contract negotiations preferably in the Pharmaceutical/CRO/Biotech industry.

·         Working knowledge of PC Applications (Excel, Microsoft Word, Windows).

·         Ability to independently evaluate complex issues and utilise judgment to sort through diverse opinions to achieve consensus.

·         Strong qualitative/quantitative analytical skills.

·         Proven team player with demonstrated leadership and/or consultation skills.

·         Ability to synthesize information and present/ summarise conclusions and recommendations.

·         Excellent organizational skills.

·         Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel.  Therefore, dependent on the employee’s location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Drivers license.

Education Requirements:

·         LLB or equivalent law degree or legal diploma preferred.

·         Third level degree in other disciplines considered with suitable contract negotiation experience.
