Project Assistant, COA

We are looking for a Project Assistant to join our winning team rated by Forbes as one of America’s best mid-size employer for 2017! The Project Assistant will provide confidential administrative support a few days per week.

ICON’s Clinical Outcome Assessment group provides services geared to meet the demands of global and national markets for high quality patient-centered data. Our COA group brings together a large team of Outcomes Research scientists, consultants, and project managers with expertise in the selection, development, validation and analysis of Patient Reported Outcome (PRO) and other COA instruments. The group has a deep understanding of the marketplace and regulatory landscapes, and helps decision-makers to understand the value of patient-centered endpoints and to estimate the impact of new health technologies.

Overview of the Role 

• Edit and proofread and format business-related documents
• Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying
• Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
• Maintain content library
• Assist in resolving and administrative problems
• Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for Managers and Directors
• Prepare and submit expense reports for Managers and Director level staff
• Support other duties as required. 

 To succeed you will need:

• No previous experience required.  
• Fluency in English both orally and in writing, with excellent communications skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Outlook
• Organizational and multitasking skills
• Interest in working in an environment that is fast paced and to work autonomously
• Problem solving capabilities
• Quality and detail-orientated
• Strong team player in a multi-language/multi-cultural environment

Education Requirements

·         High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
