Project Planning Analyst
Summary
- Project Planning Analyst ("PPA") works with the Production Manager in the planning and managing of the entire production process within the Clinical Operations team.
- The PPA works with numerous departments, to align demand and supply in utilizing capacity.
- Working in a supervisory capacity with the Project Management Team to assign projects/amendments and to manage the resources to ensure delivery of projects.
- Fully responsible for scheduling production slots in line with each individual study milestone, enabling project delivery in a timely manner.
- Focus on continuous improvement projects around production and processes.
- Working with the Production Manager, ensuring that the production operation is run in a cost effective and efficient way.
- Making sure that products are produced on time and to the required standards.
With your team, management and oversight of all Production planning and monitoring tools - Help to set up and maintain operational systems such as Jira, Box, Microsoft Project.
- Other tasks as agreed.
Job Description

- Works closely with the Production Manager to understand the projects that are in the pipeline from Business Development and model capacity planning to ensure that production can meet the future demands of sales.
- Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Analyse cross-project status reports including resource usage, budget versus actual and high level summary reports and make recommendations to the Production Manager.
- Working with the Production Manager, ensuring that the production operation is run in a cost effective and efficient way.
- Make sure that products are produced on time and to the required standards.
- Manage and maintain the flexibility in the production schedule and provide solutions that address changes in individual project timelines.
- Meet with Project Managers to discuss and manage changes to project parameters.
- Initiate Project Setup for all new projects
- Fully manage and control the schedule for bespoke modules, amendments and other areas as required.
- Gather information from functional leads/people managers to translate availability and training needs into the schedule.
- Manage and maintain production management tools.
- Drive continuous improvement projects around production and processes.
- Business intelligence and other production reports.
- Financial reporting
- Other duties, as assigned
